Terms of Service
Last updated: September 7, 2026
1. Acceptance
By accessing or using EcoRouter, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use EcoRouter.
If you create or use an authenticated EcoRouter account, you will be asked to affirmatively accept the then-current version of these Terms and acknowledge the then-current Privacy Policy before using protected account functionality. EcoRouter records that acceptance, including which version you accepted and when.
2. Experimental Service
EcoRouter is an experimental, actively-developed AI service. Features, behavior, and availability may change, and the service is provided on an “as available” basis without guarantee of uninterrupted operation.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction, to use EcoRouter. If you use EcoRouter on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.
4. User Conduct
You agree not to use EcoRouter to:
- submit unlawful, infringing, or harmful content;
- attempt to circumvent rate limits, security measures, or access controls;
- submit confidential information, highly sensitive personal information, privileged information, proprietary information you are not authorized to share, or credentials and secrets;
- interfere with other users' access to or use of EcoRouter.
5. AI Content and Accuracy
EcoRouter’s responses are generated by AI models and may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or inappropriate for your purposes. You are responsible for independently verifying any important information before relying on it. EcoRouter is not a substitute for professional judgment — legal, medical, financial, or otherwise — in high-stakes decisions.
6. User Content
You retain ownership of the content you submit to EcoRouter. By submitting content, you grant EcoRouter a limited, worldwide license to host, store, process, transmit, and — where you choose to publish it — display and share that content, solely as necessary to provide, operate, secure, and improve EcoRouter, including the Knowledge reuse functionality described in our Privacy Policy. This license ends for content you have not made public once you delete it, except to the extent copies reasonably persist in backups or as required by law.
7. Public Knowledge
EcoRouter lets you choose to publish a question and answer to Public Knowledge, creating a public page that others can view and share, and that search engines may index under EcoRouter’s current configuration. Once published, EcoRouter cannot guarantee that copies made by others — including cached or archived versions — will be removed even if you later remove the content from EcoRouter. Do not publish confidential, sensitive, proprietary, or privileged information. EcoRouter’s Platform Admin moderation may remove Public Knowledge that violates these Terms or applicable law.
8. Third-Party Services
EcoRouter’s functionality depends on third-party services, including Clerk (authentication), Stripe (billing), and AI and search providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and Brave Search). Your use of EcoRouter may also be subject to the applicable terms of those providers where relevant.
9. Intellectual Property
EcoRouter’s software, branding, and underlying technology are owned by ChatGPTree/EcoRouter or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to EcoRouter’s intellectual property beyond what is necessary to use the service as intended.
10. Service Changes and Availability
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of EcoRouter, including specific features, at any time, with or without notice — particularly given the experimental nature of the service.
11. Disclaimers
EcoRouter is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, EcoRouter and ChatGPTree will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of EcoRouter. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to EcoRouter if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. You may stop using EcoRouter, and may request deletion of your account, at any time.
14. Governing Law
Operator decision required. A governing jurisdiction for these Terms has not yet been established. This section will be completed once that decision is made — it is deliberately left open rather than defaulting to a jurisdiction no one has chosen.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms as EcoRouter changes. We will update the “Last updated” date above, and your continued use of EcoRouter after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
16. Contact
