most famous pickleball player?

The most widely recognized name in professional pickleball is Ben Johns. He has dominated the sport for several years, holding the world number-one ranking in singles, doubles, and mixed doubles for extended periods and winning a vast number of PPA (Professional Pickleball Association) titles.

Other highly prominent players who are often mentioned alongside him include:

• Anna Leigh Waters: Widely considered the most dominant player on the women’s tour, she reached the top of the sport at a very young age and has achieved an incredible winning percentage.
• Riley Newman: A top-ranked player known for his high energy and consistency in professional doubles.
• Catherine Parenteau: A consistent top-tier performer in both singles and doubles.

Because the sport is still growing rapidly, its "fame" is often measured by tournament results and professional rankings rather than general celebrity status.
